In four languages

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death and disease in every country of the world. Contributions to the elucidation of atherogenesis and its interventions come, and continue to come, from all corners of the globe.

We therefore feel very strongly that ISA 2015 should be easily accessible to every participant and in a language in which they are comfortable. Consequently we will offer the plenary sessions in English, but with simultaneous translation into Chinese, Russian and Spanish. In addition we will offer lunch symposia organised and chaired by the respective atherosclerosis societies of China, the Russian Federation together with a number of Spanish speaking countries. This will allow for a tailor-made programme in your native language. Read more

Enjoy the Netherlands

The country's name meaning 'low-lands' is derived from the fact that much of the Netherlands lies below or close to sea level.  The Dutch have managed, over centuries of hard work and technological and scientific development, to strike a unique balance between water and land.

Its flat and green polder landscape dotted with windmills, the nature and cities all enjoy a close relationship with the ever present water. The Dutch take pride in this rich cultural heritage; their mindset can best be summed up as open, creative, innovative, entrepreneurial, resourceful, and international.
