Kacey Welch was born to work with hair - it was quite literally her job from the age of ten, playing with the real life Repunzels that were her two sisters. Born and raised in LA she has that relaxed kind of cool that comes from being the real deal, Hollywood was just the air that she breathed. And with a glorious golden mane of her own, it would have seemed almost irresponsible to do anything else - hair is Kacey's passion and her pride.
After training as a master colourist at the Art Luna Salon in Santa Monica, Kacey wanted to take all of that beachy blonde expertise and combine it with some good old fashioned Hollywood glamour at the newly opened Neil George Salon; and so she began the journey into the world of hair extensions.
Course after course seemed lacking, Kacey wanted everything - beautiful, luscious hair and most important maintaining the integrity of what lay beneath. So from frustration and an uncompromising spirit, the Kacey Welch Method was born. The process begins by sourcing the finest European hair on the market and creating custom wefts that are perfectly matched to the clients freshly coloured hair, a unique weaving pattern and an additional high or low light here and there and the result is seamless glory. Her goal is not to keep you coming back for more, but for less as the client's own hair grows stronger, thicker, longer.
Her clients are some of the most famous women in the world - one would never know they were wearing extensions so Kacey would never tell, but her favourite childhood pastime has become a very serious business.
